“Is there a relationship between mass and gravity of a planet?” If there is a relationship, (such as- as the mass gets bigger the rate of gravity increases) I don’t know how to explain Saturn having less gravity than Earth and that’s where I’m stuck.

Respuesta :

Saturn has a greater gravity than Earth. Saturn = 10.44 m/s^2 and Earth = 9.81 m/s^2
The gravity of Saturn would be many times greater if it wasn’t fir its huge size! That means in the surface of Saturn you are many times further away from the centre if it’s mass.
