Land used - a big issue with producing meat is the amount of land we need to raise cattle and to grow the food to feed cattle. Rainforest, woodlands, moorland have to be destructed to make way for pasture land for cattle. The food that cattle or animal eats also needs to be grown, which requires more land. Laboratory grown meat doesnt require all the pasture space for raising or feeding animals.

Water use - the amount of water that goes into producing meat is very high when compared to amount of meat that you get back. Water availability is another global issue that may be able to be addressed by lab produced meat.
