going hunting for prey in prides or in groups, while some make use of their adaptations

hope this helps!

All animals are hesitant to interact with any prey that could possibly hurt them. including the ability to scratch, poke, stomp, blind…one little scratch could be a death sentence. This is a big deal. Only a desperate, starving predator will mess with humans or dogs. Even sheep, cattle, domestic cats can cause injury and shorten their lives. Predators don’t have antibiotics! One scratch, one broken toe can mean certain death.

This also depends on the predator; are they hunting solitary or are they part of a team or are they part of a group. This is a very big deal.

Animals want to survive. They are used to hunger. They can last longer than us humans without going nuts and making mistakes when starving or thirsty. Otherwise there is no such think as impossible to bring down. Animals have incredible hunts because they know the prey they are hunting. They know their routines, their smell, their scat, their habits, their needs. Predators do not hunt for fun. If they aren’t hungry they don’t kill necessarily…cats are hard wired to attack motion and stealth. Cats are pretty much the top predators and they are true carnivores. They smell very differently. We humans with our minimized smell organs are able to recognize cat smell, if we are familiar with the smell.

Hope this helped.
