They serve as natural filters to protect air,streams,rivers,lakes.Planting trees or crops or plants helps in retaining water and increasing the level of groundwater in that particular area.It also provide a cool atmosphere by reducing evaporation.If the trees are removed it will make water runoff faster because nothing is holding it back and it can cause erosion and water pollution by dumping chemicals into the rivers.Just as the trees are conserving the water we need so as well should we also conserve it for them to use.......
