Mrs wong has 2000 plants in her nursery . 65% of the plants were orchids and the rest were roses . after some orchids were sild and 125 roses were added , the percenrage of orchids became 45% of all the plants in the nursery. how many orchids did she sell?

2000*0.65=1300 orchids
2000-1300=700 roses
700+125=825 roses

825 - 0.65
x     - 0.45
x=(825*0.45)/0.65=572 orchids
