As a Staff or CEO of a business, when a company has a new business contact from another company or place, it is necessary to follow up with the contact so as to know what is the update on the business that they are pursuing.

It is important to know that, spending a lot of time at their place of work or(Contact of the person one is trying to follow up on) is not a good on the long run, they may see the person as been desperate, or does not have the time for other things to engage with, and wont be taken serious again.
