1. Horatius, impetu hostis incepto, suos homines petere salutem in urbe iussit.
Horatius, begins an attack against the enemy, his men seek greetings in city order
2. Homines ab Horatio pontem delere iussi erant.
But the men were under orders to destroy the bridge by Horatio?
3. Is suis (his own) viris dixit "hostes consistam".
His own men say, "enemy stand still".
4. Hostibus venientibus, duo amici c u m Horatio remanserunt.
Enemies coming, two friends remain with horatio.
5. Hi tres viri boni pontem paulisper defenderant.
The three good men defend the bridge for a little while.
