Suppose 1 gold bar is 6 cm long, 2 cm high, and 3 cm wide. How many whole gold bars will you be able to fit in a vault with a volume of 500 cm3?

Ok so find the volume of 1 gold bar and then see how many volumes of 1 gold bar fit into a vault of a volume of 500 cm3.

Volume of a rectangle ( 1 gold bar ) is l *w * h ( length * width * height )

6*3*2 = 36 cm3 -volume of 1 gold bar

500 / 36 = approx. 13 full gold bars will fit into the vault.
