First we need to know why Earth  is suitable for life :

1. Its atmosphere : which helps in maintaining suitable environment for living.The atmosphere on Earth maintain its temperature.

It contains Gases like : Carbon dioxide , Nitrogen ,Oxygen.

These gases are required by the different living things for survival .

2. Sources of energy : Every living organism need source of energy for their growth. Even a microscopic organism require food to carry out its life- process.

Water , Sunlight , gases are some important food sources for living things.

Why Life do not exist in Mars?

In 1986 scientist mistakenly thought that there is life on mars also. But no solid proof was found anywhere.

  • There is Only CO2 gas present in Mars.But this is not enough for life. Othere gases should also be their( Human being need O2 gas for breathing)
  • The temperature on Mars can go very low(-60 degree celcius).It can be lower than -60 in winter season.

So to support life on Mars , Raise its temperature and Atmosphere needs to be changed
