mean is an average of everything so add all the numbers up and then divide by how many there are
For example (2005) (20+25+20+43+40)/ 5
And median is the number that is in the middle after u arrange all the numbers in numerical order
So like (2005) 20 20 25 40 43 and the median would be 25
