New Nexon was begun by 1968 presidential crusade of Richard Nixon, the 36th Vice President of the United States,
by formally proclaimed his nomination following a year's education and five years' political restructuring following disappointments in the 1960 administrative vote, and the 1962 California poll. Nixon stressed "law and order," placing himself as the guardian of what he termed as the "silent majority." Working well advancing of his competitor, compelling Vice President Hubert Humphrey, his supporter shifted in the consensuses following his unwillingness to participate in administrative discussions.
