2.) Macbeth imagines a dagger leading him toward King Duncan. This shows human nature because human nature is selfish and greedy. Macbeth should’ve been content with being a war hero and honored by the king. However, his greedy motives lead him wanting more power and ultimately in the end, taking the King’s life.
3.) Blood dominates this act and ultimately the entire play as guilt. The blood that Macbeth got on his hands after murdering King Duncan drive Macbeth and Lady Macbeth to insanity. Not to mention the word blood pops up a bunch throughout act 2.
