Sedimentary rocks are formed by material that has been removed from other rocks by weathering and which has been deposited in the place and became a rock by the process called sedimentation .

This question is from Odyssey and the answer is not all sedimentary rocks contain weathered rock and sediment. The correct answer is Stalagmites and stalactites are examples of chemical sedimentary rock, I know this because I had to answer the same question on Odyssey.
