Groundwater is the subsurface water and can be found beneath the surface of the earth through the tiny pore spaces of soil and fractured rocks.

  • For accessing this groundwater the wells need to be made and drilled below the water table so that groundwater may be extracted. Water needs to be pumped out slowly in order or it may get dry or finish completely.  
  • If the wells are drilled overlying an impervious layer the pressure inside the aquifer will cause the rise quickly.

Hence the option B, C, and E are correct.
