Respuesta :

4 times the square root of eight is irrational because 8 does not have a perfect square then 4 times square root of 16 divided by 8 is rational because the square root of 16 is 4 and 4 x4 divided by 8 =2 so that would be rational

BRAINLIEST!?☺

On the rational side. 4*sqrt(8)/8 = sqrt(8)/2

sqrt(8) = sqrt(2*2*2) = 2*sqrt(2) which is irrational

2*sqrt(2)/2 does not change the fact that the original question is irrational.

So it in fact is in the wrong place.

On the irrational side, there is nothing the matter with 4*sqrt(16)/8. Sqrt(16) = 4 which is rational. The answer to the problem is 4*4/8 = 2. It does not belong on the irrational side.

Now you want to add one result to the rational side. We could use sqrt(5)*sqrt(5) = 5

Or we could use 15 * sqrt(121) / 225 = 11/15

On the irrational side sqrt(pi)/pi is irrational.
