We wish to solve the system of linear equations given below:

3x-7y=14

x = 0 (this is the x-value where the line crossesw the y-axis).

Then 3(0) - 7y = 14, or y = -2.  

The line crosses the y axis at (0, -2).

I'd suggest you please leave out "LaTex."
