My question is, with this type of question, are you supposed to use subtraction instead of addition? Just asking because I had a problem where it said 5(x+7) and my answer was 5x+35 *your writing equivalent expressions* and it used addition, which is why I added the sums of 5•x plus 5•7 which was 5x and 35. But I just wanna know if I use addition or subtraction for this problem, 3y(4-2y)
