During the process, cracks are formed due to pressure. The magma will then rise along the crack to cause fissure eruption and cools down. As the process of eruption and cooling repeat, a volcano will be formed, hence causing volcanic eruption.

Another thing is that as the subducted plate melts under the extreme heat of magma, extra material for magma is provided which caused eruption to happen more likely.
