Hey!

To solve this equation, we'd first have to apply the distributing rule to this equation.

Original Equation :
[tex]( 3a - 2 )^{2} [/tex]

New Equation {Changed by Applying the Distribution Rule} :
[tex]( 3a )^{2} - 2 [/tex] · 3a · 2 + [tex]2 ^{2} [/tex]

And now we simplify.

Old Equation :
[tex]( 3a ) ^{2} -2 [/tex] · 3a · 2 + [tex]2 ^{2} [/tex]

New Equation {Old Equation Simplified} :
[tex]9a ^{2} [/tex] - 12a + 4

So, the equation [tex](3a - 2) ^{2} [/tex] simplified is  [tex]9a ^{2} [/tex] - 12a + 4.

Hope this helps!
