I believe the answer to your question above is option B - prologue.
A is incorrect because characterization is telling how the character or setting looks like, etc.
C is also incorrect because a preview is when you see something and decide whether you want to watch, buy, rent it, etc.
D is also wrong because trilogy means something that is played right after another. As an example a tragic Greek play.

I'm not to sure but I think its D because the first planned they can make more movies and science fiction. Call me a nerd but I think about the star wars trilogy
