Answer: The density increases, because the deeper you go, the colder in gets, and the colder you get, the more dense it feels. When you're higher in the sea, the temperature is higher, which means the water is less dense.

The further you go down into any body of water, the colder the water gets, so, the further you go down the more the density increases. Density can also be related to pressure, which is why the further down you, the more weight is on your chest, even the most advanced subs can't reach the bottom of parts of the ocean or else they will be crushed like tin can.
