Does anyone know how to solve this?
2x^2-6x+9 can be written in the form a(x-b)^2+c where a b c can be written as integers or fractions in their simplest form.
a) work out the values of a b c
b) using your answer to part a), solve 2x^2-6x+9=12.5. give any fractions or surds in your answers in their simplest forms.
