You had to create age structure diagrams for three countries in the Population Age Structure lesson. Submit your age structure diagrams from the lesson. Be sure you have correctly labeled each diagram and the country that it is for. Use those diagrams to answer the questions for part 2.
Part 2:
Answer the following questions about your diagrams:
Which country has the youngest population?
What percentage of Canada's 2005 population was between the ages of 30 and 44?
What is a cohort? Provide an example.
A human population is said to be "aging" if its members age 0-14 make up less than 30 percent of the population and those age 75 and over make up more than 6 percent of the population. Do any of the countries in your lab have an aging population? If so, which ones?
