He even rewrote some of the Greek stories in English in his own charming style. There is a very touching story about him. It is about how he started telling stories.
Before he became famous as a writer. Nathaniel Hawthorne earned his living as a clerk. However, he had no taste for the kind of writing that a clerk had to do.
